FUNDAMENTALS

FOR AGES 3-7

Ages 3-7

FUNdamentals is designed to give juniors, ages 3-7, a fun environment to learn to play the game of golf!

This program’s purpose is to prepare juniors for the DiscoverGolf program where we will begin to start measuring progress on the golf course.

We structure the FUNdamentals program into 8 week semesters. Once enrolled, your junior holds that spot for the entire semester. Enrollment is on a rolling basis so you may join at any time, based on space availability.

TEAM GOLF

Ages 6-14

PGA Team Golf serves as a fun, social, less stressful approach to tournament play and is a great way to get kids involved with the game of golf in a competitive team environment. The basic premise is to create a positive team atmosphere for young golfers, comparable to other youth sports leagues, such as soccer and baseball. Similar to these sports, teams have weekly practices where golf instruction is offered by local PGA and LPGA Professionals serving as team coaches at public and private golf facilities throughout South Florida. Leagues are separated by county and weekly tournaments are held during the spring/summer and fall months for area teams in each league.

Team Golf is open to juniors ages 6-14. Team Golf participants should be beginning and intermediate players who do not possess extensive tournament experience.

In addition, each Team Golf member at Impact Zone Golf will participate in 4 sessions of 1 hour weekly practice sessions, held before each event, in order to build golf and team skills.

US KIDS

LOCAL TOUR

Ages 5-14

Impact Zone Golf is proud to be the Tournament director for the U.S. Kids Naples Local Tour. U.S. Kids Golf Local Tours are created to provide boys and girls, ages 5 to 14, the opportunity to advance their skills in the game in age-appropriate competition without having to take the time and incur the costs of having to travel long distances.

A Local Tour consists of individual one-day tournaments including a season-ending one-day Local Tour Championship. Players earn awards and points for each tournament. Similar to the PGA Tour, players at U.S. Kids Golf events are encouraged to have caddies to help them play their best. Allowing caddies is a special component of our tournaments and is part of our commitment to encouraging family interaction that builds lasting memories. Players age 8 and under must have a caddie at all times.

PGA Junior League

Ages 13 and under

PGA Jr. League brings family and friends together around fun, team golf experiences with expert coaching from PGA and LPGA Professionals.

Boys and girls of all backgrounds and skill levels learn and play together in a supportive, two-person scramble format that encourages mentorship, builds confidence and promotes sportsmanship.

With over 50,000 participants in 2018 – and Ambassadors including Rory McIlroy, Michelle Wie, Rickie Fowler and Lexi Thompson – PGA Jr. League has wide-ranging appeal for both youth and their parents.

Impact Zone Golf Junior Academy fields teams each summer.  The league is open to all juniors, 13 and under, in the area. Our league runs June-July, with an All-Star team advancing post season play in subregionals and then have the opportunity to advance to regionals and then to the PGA Jr. Championship!

At its core, PGA Jr. League is a group of local golf teams who play a series of games against each other, utilizing a nurturing and social scramble format. The program is available to boys and girls of all skill levels. PGA and LPGA Professionals exclusively serve as Captains and are responsible for creating a welcoming environment for all that encourages skill and character development.

While the format and key pillars of PGA Jr. League  apply to all teams and leagues across the country, the program is organized at the local level by individual PGA and LPGA Professionals in your community. As such, the way in which each league or team operates – whether it be the number of teams in a league, the scheduling of games or the number of practices – may vary slightly from team to team.

about BOBBY CLAMPETT

Bobby Clampett – two-time Fred Haskins Award Winner, Three-Time First Team Collegiate All-American from Brigham Young University, PGA Master Professional of Teaching and Coaching, Founder of Impact-Based® Instruction, California Golf, Utah Golf and BYU Hall of Fame Member, and CBS golf broadcaster is one of the most multi-talented PGA Tour Champions in history.

With all his achievements, perhaps Bobby will be best remembered for helping improve golf teaching through his discovery of Impact-Based® Instruction. Known now as the “Father of Impact,” many teachers agree that Bobby has had a greater influence on improving golfers games than any instructor in recent history.

Bobby’s discovery dismantles all the confusing, conflicting golf theories and gives golfers an understanding and hope they never thought possible. Golf is no longer an enigma or mystery as it has long been, thanks to Bobby’s discovery.

Now retired from the PGA Champion’s Tour where he racked up 7 top 5 finishes and won $1.5 million dollars, Bobby has shifted his focus to helping others. Bobby and his wife Marianna developed Impact Zone Golf, headquartered in their East-Coast home of Naples, Florida, to be the most comprehensive golf instruction program in the world.
